Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I got a chance to catch these guys at the House of Blues in Orlando, and let me tell you they were awesome. I found out about them because I received an email with an offer of 2 tickets for the price of 1.

They played a bunch of Floyd’s classic songs and they did the Dark Side of the Moon album all the way with every little weird noise on that album.

I took my 2 sons (15 and 9) big Pink Floyd fans and they were amazed with the light show and sound quality.
Never seen Floyd in concert and this was pretty damn close.
If you have the chance to see them just go for it.

An Austrian roofer who slipped on the job ended up nailing himself to the roof - through his wedding tackle.

According to Ananova, 59-year-old August Voegl of Jennersdorf “shot the four-inch nail into his left testicle with the compressed air nail gun” and was thereafter “unable to extract it or pull himself away from the roof”.

It was left to emergency medics to separate Voegl from the building and, after being whisked to hospital by air ambulance, he’s reportedly “recovering well” following surgery.

All I have to say it!!

The other night we went to see their “SOLD OUT” concert at the Hard Rock Live and begin an AIC fan for many years without ever seeing them live was very happy with the results. They have been the best concert I have seen in many years. The “NEW” singer did a great job and I think that Layne would be happy from where he is watching right now. ALICE ROCKS!! If you have a chance to catch them just go for it, they were AWESOME!!

I gotta agree with the critics Battlestar Galactica is just the best show out there right now. For those of you that think this is a sci-fi show just like Star Wars I need to tell you that you are very wrong. This show is mostly a drama that happens to be in space and you don’t see weird looking creatures like in SW, don’t get me wrong I love SW but I am loving Galactica more and more.

The 3rd Season of this award Sc-Fi channel series starts on October 6th and I just can’t wait. How did I get hooked? I took the first 2 series out from my library and just couldn’t stop watching them. My whole family is hooked on this show. I tell you it’s better that anything out there right now.

The other day we went to Wal-Mart and this old cashier lady told my 15 year old son “Oh your so handsome, you look like a young Roy Orbison” I didn’t get it at first but when we got into the car, I was laughing my ass off!! My son asked me who was Roy Orbison and when I got home I told him to look it on Wikipedia, when he got the result he wasn’t too happy!! But I was still laughing my ass off!! Tell me what you think!!
